She is a mom, about 40 years old and am going to send her a b-day care pkg filled with:
- tupperware of cupcakes (yucky? will take 2 days to get there)
- candles
- framed photo of us when we were younger
- gift card to restaurant in her area for dinner
- confetti
- her fave choc bars (will they melt?)
- balloons for her kids to blow up
- happy b-day sign
- t-shirt w/some cute iron-on
- disposable camera (if they still have those)
- happy bday sign for the front yard
What else can I put in there? Am I missing anything? Thx mamas!

What can I do next?

Cute idea...a dear friend of mine did this when I had to have a hysterectomy, a "Farewell to Your Uterus" gift box. OK, I digress, it's late, lol ; )

I would substitute cookies for the cupcakes, I send those cross country and I've never had a problem with them. Where is the package going? If to a warm destination I would make sure to pack the chocolate bars well, and place in the center of your box. And a birthday card❤

You are the best friend! I would be over the moon if a friend did this for me! What about one or two of those little shot bottles of baileys or jamesons whiskey to have with the cookies?

Throw in some plates, cups, and napkins in a fun birthday print. Id send the cake mix and frosting instead of already made cupcakes, then she can bake them when she wants and invite friends. I did this once for a friend here,, I sent it to 2 of her daughters and her M. and dad and had them do the cake, party with their friends, decorate, take the pictures, and send the cameras back to me for a photo album I put together. Then I had a party here for my friend and when it came time for gifts,, I gave her the album. it was a riot!

Paper goods!

You may want to think twice on the cupcakes. You could send them without the frosting (which will melt and be gross) and include a can of frosting and sprinkles so her kids can decorate them for her!

Very cute idea and I am definitely stealing it when my sister turns 30 this year!
