I'm looking for a round speciality birthday cake with a birthday tiara and possible wand.. It is for an adult and I need it for Feb 12th.
Have you tried a local grocery store? Many of them do wedding cakes. They may be able to help you.
Contact your local Vo-Tech, they often have cake decorating classes and the teachers have many years experience decorating cakes and they may not charge as much as some stores that do special order cakes. The regular cakes from the grocery store are the only ones they know how to do so i would go to an actual bakery to order the cake if the Vo-Tech teacher can't help you.
Another place could be a local college that has a hotel/restaurant degree program They may have cake decorators that are trying to go to school and learn to skills to be employed by upscale restaurants as the bakery manager.
Paris Bakery on Park Row across from Arlington High School makes wonderful specialty cakes! Reasonable prices, too! Go to Party City or one of the many dollar stores for the tiara and wand.
