Best Stroller?

I have a 2-year old and am expecting with another. We got the Aria stroller because it goes with the infant car seat, but he hated it and still does! I hate it, too. Has anyone had any good luck with strollers? I think lightweight and comfort is the most important. Also, since I'll have two, any recommendations for double strollers?

What can I do next?

I say while the baby is still in the infant carrier carseat, go with a "Snap-n-Go". Kolcraft, Graco and Baby Trend all make them. Test your carseat out with them first before buying. I took my carseat to BabiesRUs the other day and tested it. They didn't have the Kolcraft, just the other two. Oh, and MacLaren has one too. Sometimes they're called "universal". They are made to fit with many different infant carriers. You really can't get more lightweight than this kind of stroller- it's pretty much just a frame to hold the carrier (with a basket underneath). You can find them cheaper on craigslist.

After that (when the baby grows out of the carseat), I'm not sure. I love our Jeep 3-wheeler with the plug and speakers for music and it was pretty cheap- only like $70 when we bought it 4 years ago. It is big and bulky, though.

Go to Lone Star Baby in Frisco...they are so knowledgeable and can show you the pros & cons of all the strollers. Chicco is an awesome brand.

My kids are 26 months apart and I searched for a double stroller forever. Now I have #3 on the way. I ended up with the MacClaren side by side 'twin techno'. It is lightweight and my kids are very comfortable in it.

I like the side by side much better because they are easier to push, both kids can recline, and no fighting about who sits in front. The stroller I selected won't let me put the baby car seat in it, but that's ok with me. Another reason I selected this stroller is because when it is collapsed, it doesn't take the entire trunk up. It folds up pretty small and takes up less space in the trunk than my single Graco did.

Another thing that I did was take the older kid in the single stroller and carry the baby in a carrier/wrap/sling for a while (this works really well for when they are teeny tiny).

Good luck to you!

Maclaren is the best! I wish I would have gotten one for the first one.
