Does anyone know of a good place catering to elderly women? My mother-in-law uses a wheelchair and/or walker. She also has very thinning, baby-fine hair. Thank you!!

There is a nice place in Libertyville. Artistic Hair Salon on Milwaukee Ave. I have not been there recently but I know the owner used to send her stylists to seniors that live at a local senior facility so they are used to working with older women.

I would recommend Shear Perfection in Fox River Grove, I often see elderly women there, plenty of room for a wheel chair.
Good luck!

Go to Judy at Peacocks in Bartlett. She is the sweetest lady you will ever meet, been in the business for years, and loves her clients. She is always helping them walk in and out if needed and really builds a friendship with her clients. I think the number is ###-###-####.

My sister-in-law does hair for my mom and my aunt in Norridge, if that is close I can give you the name.
