okay, so friday at 9 am im getting my bottom baby molars out the doctor said the procedure will be an hour if that.. also friday i have relay for life 8 hours after my extraction.. do you think i will be able to go? and my brother got 9 teeth pulled with no swelling.. so will i get any swelling?

Anyone who thinks baby teeth "have no roots" didn't see the top front baby tooth my son had extracted! IF the secondary tooth comes in, it wears away the baby tooth root....
That said, how many teeth are you getting pulled?
My son was fine 8 hrs after his extraction, and he was 4 at the time!

i had to have 5 baby teeth pulled when i was younger because they just would not come out they were the last 5 to go and my orthodontist couldnt start anything with the rest of my teeth til they were gone (i had severe crowding in my mouth) it definatley was not fun but it wasnt that bad.. i got lucky my uncle was my dentist so it was a bit easier.. he had to give me extra shots of novicane because my gums just wouldnt get numb.. they might only be baby teeth but they were way in there .. i would imagine molars would be a little worse because theyre bigger teeth.. i had no swelling but defintaley pain for a while and because of the extra novicane my face was numb for like 3 hours afterward
Baby teeth have no roots, so it should be easy.

I would not think you'd feel like going. About this time is when the Novocaine would be wearing off and you'll start to feel a bit of pain. It should not be bad pain, just enough to want some Tylenol and ice.
I think you could either reschedule the extractions or not make the relay.
