I have a friend that can't work out of the house- she is still healing from a physical injury, and suffers from depression. However, she is extremely bright and educated, especially with all natures of Autism. I would really appreciate some blogs/websites, etc. where she can provide her own input and experiences/advice, because I do feel it will help with her own needs.
She completely understands the nature of depression and is handling it accordingly. I just thought that an outlet to help others will help her as well.

My own blog discusses living with a child with Autism... it goes way back to 2007, I think. So that means it includes when we were trying to figure out what was going on with my middle daughter, who has Autism. A significant portion of my blog relates to G, how I relate to her, how her siblings relate to her, how I try to advocate for her, as well as information-sharing.

It also chronicles my issues with (diagnosed) clinical depression, OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Life with three girls. I don't blog a ton about my marriage out of the interest of not airing dirty laundry.

It also includes some silly stuff, some inspirational stuff, and random stuff. The blog is public. I'm not a brilliant blogger but I do have fun with it and welcome discussions. I only recently immigrated my blog over to Word Press, so traffic is increasing daily on it again and comments need to pick back up. :-)

EDIT: The link should be visible in my profile.

I agree with your thinking. She's fortunate to have you as a friend. I don't have an answer to your question, tho. Just wanted to praise you.

I am not familiar with resource centers in the Dallas/FT Worth area, but am familiar with other national centers.

The one that come to mind is SARRC. They are in Phoenix, AZ and have a lot of connections for all.

Here's their website:
