Anyone Out There Go to Associates in Pediatrics on Randall in Elgin?

I like my son's doctor but am rather tired of the rude treatment by the reception staff and nurses. Granted, the doctor is the most important factor so I am not sure I really want to switch. But I'm curious as we drive by this practice on our way to church and now with the new Sherman Hospital opening across the street from that practice that is a nice aspect as well of course.

What can I do next?

I take my 4 children there and LOVE it!! My boys absolutely love Dr. Patrick, and I tend to take my daughter to see Dr. Carol.
I had switched to AIP after meeting with Dr. Michael Sheade, and I was blown away by him, especially after the way our past 2 pediatricians were. They are completely supportive of me delaying vaccines, and I have never had a problem getting in there for an appointment. =)

We have used the Associates in Pediatrics at all 3 of their locations for about 4 years. I like them and there are a lot of doctors to choose from. We use Dr. Michael Shead (sp.?) He is great. Good luck.

We used to go there but have since changed a little over 2 years ago. I was never crazy about the treatment my daughter received, because she was under 2 at the time they wouldn't diagnose her with asthma and her symptoms kept getting worse and we made more visits to the er for inhaler treatments. I was referred elsewhere and they diagnosed her first hand, she was treated and all the problems went away, to make a long story short, the wait time was always horrible, waited in waiting room forever, then once you finally went to exam room, you waited just as long, the front desk staff was never very helpful, and the nurses were always very rude. We now go to Signature Medical, and see Dr Valena, and absolutely love everything about her, she takes her time, only 2 nurses work for her, and they are wonderful, and you never seem to wait as long as we did at associates, hope this helps. By the way she is located just north of where associates is at 1710 north randall rd just before I-90

I take both my kids there (almost 3 and 11 weeks). Dr. Pat (Patrick Esposito) is great! Whenever anyone in the household has a boo-boo, Michael tells me that we have to go see Dr. Pat. He actually WANTS to go there.

Wow, I go to the Associates in Pediatrics office in Streamwood, and I never had rude treatment from the office staff. And one of the nurses is the best ever! Our doctor is great (Dr. Wynn). Perhaps you could see your doctor at the other Elgin location or travel to Streamwood?

We currently go to Associates in Pediatrics and do go to the Randall Road location. I've seen almost all the doctors there, and honestly only like one...Dr Pat. Just recently they opened up a bigger office in that same building and since then things have been much better there. Before everyone seemed crabby there and in such a rush to get you out. We'd wait forever to be seen, and it was always a joke. I must say though, the last 2-3 times that we've gone since they've opened up the "big" office there, we've been seen pretty fast and everyone seems much happier!

i take my 4 kids here (and have for about 5 years). honestly there are things about it that i really dislike- i have waited over an hour for my scheduled appointment on several occasions. I also dislike Dr. Teplis- she has been very rude to us in the past and also mis-diagnosed a few things with my newborn. But Dr. Michael Shaede is awesome, we love him. he's very patient, knowledgable, and takes the time to explain things in detail. Wynn Shaede and Dr. Pat are not bad either. I have just had mixed feelings about this place, but we have hung in there with them. they take on a very large patient load and overbook appointments.
