The hubby and I are excited about the Oscars this year, much more than we were the Grammy's. Don't care about the celebs, just care about good movies. This wasn't one of the best years in cinema in our opinion, but a pretty decent yeae nonetheless.
Is anyone else going to watch? What are your predictions?
I love to see all beautiful gowns and jewelry but can't stand the ridiculous interviews! Gag!! I was glad to see that Billy Crystal is back. Maybe it won't be so boring this year. I won't be watching, though. I will be watching Amazing Race!

I watched some of it, and heard about who won this morning. We LOVED The Artist, so I was very happy to hear it won, and that he got best actor, too. :)

I DVR'd it, and watched it this morning. I watch it every year. Have since I was a little girl. My mother and I would watch it together. It was the only time I was allowed to stay up past my bedtime.
Yep We are watching it right now, and enjoying some of the humor. I like seeing the dresses,, and watching all the shows tomorrow telling me how gorgeous so and so was, when I thought it was an ugly dress. And the stars in dresses I love will be the ones on the worst dress lists..lol.. But we havent seen ANY of the movies. We rarely do, but its fun to watch anyway. And Im still creeped out by the "dirty flying monkey" comments in the skit at the biginning. eww...lol
I predict I will fall asleep before they're over! LOL. If there's nothing else on that we DVR'd, we may chime in to check out the freshly botoxed crowd! But really, since we didn't view any contenders we might pass. Last time I saw the Oscars and any contenders was the night before my induction, two years ago!
