Hello K.! You're in luck! We have a group of single moms that get together now-and-then for dinner parties with kids. (We eat, have a drink, gossip and the kids keep each other busy and happy playing! It's perfect!) I know how you feel. My six year old son and I recently relocated from East Texas. I don't have any family here and no girlfriends to speak of. I have also been "trolling" for friends recently. Though I've lived in Texas for 6 years, I've failed to make many friends because of various situaitons/reasons. My best guy friend actually lives up in Boston and I've gone up there frequently over the past few years. Though I'm still married (though I wish I were divorced) with two small children; I'd love to get together to do something with you.
