Hey, We just recently moved to Carrollton also, and have only been in Texas for about a year. Im not single, but I am always looking to make new friends. I havent made many since I have moved here. I highly recommend trying meetup.com. It's a website where you can search for different types of groups that "meet up" in your area. I found a great one for stay-at-home moms. There are so many different groups on meeup that I'm sure you could find one for single parents. Good luck!
