HCG drops or injectiosn or even pill...yea or nay?

I just want opinions and testimonials. i tried this, and most of the weight I lost came back after I went back to normal eating. I got light headed alot for lack of calories. other than that I was fine, didn't make me sick, still had energey, no cravings, it has an excellent appitite suppresor.

I am just bummed it didn't work like i thought. is it just me or what?

thanks :)

Don't feel bad. I used the injections & lost quite a bit of weight on the diet. I gained every single bit back plus an extra 5 pounds.

I would try to avoid all "fad diets". Your best best is to change your lifestyle with healthy foods that fuel your body and a good amount of physical activity. The Abs Diet book has a lot of healthy recipes, Dr Oz's website has a lot of info too.

Did u follow the 3 week re-entry back to normal food to a t? Most of the places u buy the hcg from have coaches who will walk u through any problems. Wonder what went wrong. This is an excellent 'diet' and works well for so many. U didn't state how much u lost.

My cousin ended up with kidney failure on that diet. BEWARE!!!! Fad diets are usually not successful since they don't help you learn to eat right!

of the 4 people I know who did HCG, three have kept within 5 lbs of their weight loss past one year and one gained it all back. But I'm pretty sure that there is no diet on the planet where going back to eating like "normal", or the way you were eating to make you the weight you were unhappy with to begin with, is going to maintain weight loss. There is work in maintenance as well and thats the key to any weight loss. That said the consensus from those 4 is injections. You get over the needle thing real fast. holding drops in your mouth is a bigger pain in the butt than it sounds. Best of luck.

The people I know who have used it have kept all the weight off. The one thing they all say is that it is vitally important to carefully follow the last phase where you slowly add in more food. Your body needs to adjust to eating more food again, and the rules to this phase are very important. You can't blow them off. I will also note that the people I know who did an HCG diet used the homeopathic version, not the true HCG shots.

A lot of times if you join an HCG program with physician supervision, you won't gain the weight back because they teach you good eating habits and behavioral changes. Many patients have had luck keeping the weight off with the HCG program at Plano Aesthetics. www.planoaesthetics.com Good luck!

It's a really bad idea to use hormones for weight loss! There is no way it can be safe, it's just too new. Remember what happened with ephedra?? The safest, most successful way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. There is no magic pill or procedure that will do the job. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear, but it's the truth. You can't take a pill and eat pizza or burgers and expect to lose weight! Change your lifestyle. Eat REAL, healthy food and be active. I did that last year and lost 30 lbs. I thought I could start eating junk again in small portions and keep the weight off... No deal. I've struggled with my weight my entire life and tried every diet out there. The only thing that ever worked was when I started eating a healthy vegetarian diet. Not that you need to be veg or anything, but eating healthy will do the trick, trust me!

I have heard many different reports from a variety of sources stating that these diets are not safe. Plus, I would think this is under the fad diet, as in works immediately, but the weight will ALWAYS come right back!

I used the drops and lost 40 pounds. Once I stopped I lost an additional 35 pounds and have kept it off for over a year. The thing to understand is you have to make a complete lifestyle change!!! Good luck, but make sure you do a ton of research!!!
