Am I REALLY Pregnant??

This is probably a ridiculous question. So, sorry! haha.

I got 2 positive HPT tests last week as well as a positive blood test. I guess I may just be in disbelief or something, but with a positive blood test, is it 100% sure that I am pregnant?
I had an early miscarriage in January, got pregnant again in February. Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing...

I have my first appointment on Tuesday at which I will for sure know by ultrasound :)

I guess my question is, even though I don't have many symptoms (just breast tenderness, a little cramping, and fatigue)... am I REALLY pregnant??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you so much for your responses. Sorry, I know it's stupid, but after a miscarriage it is really hard to be confident. Plus I have been overly emotional lately, so that doesn't help. I will have to let everyone know what happens after my appointment on Tuesday.

By the way, I have had no bleeding so far, so that's a good sign.

Everyone just made my day! Thanks for the encouragement

It could be a false positive because you still have hormones from the miscarriage. So just wait until you see the baby on ultrasound before you know you are 100% pregnant.

Indeed you are - congratulations! you can request a follow up blood test to make sure your HCG levels are going up appropriately - a nice rise in your hormone level will tell you that you have a nice, viable pregnancy and less likely to miscarry.

It sounds like you are!! :) The symptoms you mentioned are everything that I experienced at the very beginning of all 4 of my pregnancies. :)

I also had a miscarriage at one point, so I can definitely understand your hesitation...

Woo hoo for the ultrasound!! You'll have to let us know the results! :)

Congrats! Your are Prego. I had a similar situation but it was the opposite. Pregnancy tests and 2 blood tests came back negative! All of a sudden SUPRISE your 8wks along! The only sign I have had so far is no period and now at 21 weeks I am getting my baby belly :)

Yes you are! Congratulations! I'm pregnant too with #5 and when I first missed my cycle I couldn't believe it either. I thought I was pre-menapausal or something. I know it's hard after a miscarriage because of not wanting to get your hopes up... Good luck to you and Congratulations!!

Congrads! You are pregnant! I experienced all of the above, I just want you to know that some people still mensturatewhile pregant. I was about 2-3 months pregnant when I bled a lot, It was a threatend miscarage, I went through the pregnancy with some spotting. So dont be alarmed if u see blood, just get checked right away. My daughter is now 10 months old!!! May God bless you during this pregnancy.

Ahahaha this makes me laugh because I did the same exact thing when I found out I was pregnant... again! I took a cheap pregnancy test and it had an unmistakeable plus sign. I needed more proven to me because one week earlier I started spotting expecting my period, so, I took a digital pregnancy test and it read "PREGNANT" clear as day. I still needed more hard evidence, so I had a blood test done. Oh yeah I'm pregnant. My first ultrasound is on the 9th and I'll be 12 weeks by then. It was surreal to me up until last week when I realized I'm having terrible consistant morning sickness, super sensitive breasts and no sign of my period. Helloooo baby!
You're pregnant sweetie so just embrace it. I do agree on having another follow up blood test done to make sure your hcg levels are where they are suppose to be. Congrats!

Yay!! When you see that little peanut for the first time on the ultrasound you will be all set. (I am 9 weeks along myself, and I just saw my baby on Tuesday!) I do have to say that it was pretty surreal for me until then. Congrats to you!!!

You are certainly pregnant ... Congratulations! With my 1st pregnancy, it happened very quickly and I was also in disbelief. I wasted money and did three home tests and all were positive. Just could not believe the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd. I then called a friend who was a nurse in a local drs. office and ask her to do a blood test. Yep, positive also. The nurses were laughing at my amazement. They could not believe I spent all this money and were asking what I was expecting after the 1st positive. I've heard if you get a negative result it's possible to be inaccurate if it's a bit early to detect, but a positive result is very accurate and there's a baby!!!
