Hi Mamas~
We usually RV for our trips and therefore take our dog (23 lbs) with us....this summer we are going to Disney and will need to board our dog. I was quoted $23+ per day to board him with our vet at Aladdin in Flower Mound....does anyone have any more affordabe recommendations that they recommend? Thanks so much in Advance,

Hey T.,

I can vouch for Canine Courtyard in FM that Joann and her husband own. Since we moved here in June we have boarded our dog there probably 4 or 5 times. I love that they go outside multiple times a day, not just twice. They are open everyday, which means you can pick them up on a Sunday for no extra charge, plus, if something is wrong they are there, not just sending some high school kid on the weekend to walk and clean up. The cages are decent sizes. You can get cuddle time for a little extra, and I usually have him get a bath on the day I pick him up. And most of all their prices are resonable, especially compared to vets!! Good luck and have fun at Disney!

We have used it for years and really like it. Nothing fancy, just a country kennel and it is very affordable ($15 a day) The owners live an site and are very nice and know our dog. It is in Argyle

Hi T.! My husband and I run a boarding kennel in Flower Mound. www.caninecourtyard.com Your dog would be $18 a night. This includes outside playtime at least 4 times a day. Most places charge extra for free play. Our runs are also all indoors so you don't have to worry about them getting too hot in the indoor/outdoor places. We are in this business because we love dogs and are very dedicated to taking the very best care of them. Flower Mound Humane Society recommends us and I can get you other references if you like. Let me know if you have any questions. You are also welcome to stop by for a tour.

We used Canine Country Inn. They are in Bartonville and their website is www.caninecountryinn.com. We were very pleased with the arrangements and the cost.

We have used Texas Pet Bed & Breakfast in Argyle. They are so wonderful w/the dogs there. I don't exactly know the cost(though if I recall it is cheaper that what you quoted for the vet), but I do know that they are very well cared for in an air conditioned/heated stable. They have their own indoor and outdoor part too . They have a website that is pretty informative- www.texpetbb.com

Good luck!

I also use Canine Country Inn. Their website is www.caninecountryinn.com and their number is ###-###-####. We love them. We have three dogs and boarding them is expensive. We usually put two of our dogs in the same run which is a discounted rate. I think their rates are $15/day and then if there is a second dog in the same run it is $10/day for that dog. We have used them for 5 years now and are really happy with them.
Let me know if you have any quesitons.

Try Canine Country Inn in Argyle- we've been using him for years now, and we've always been very happy with him. I know he's cheaper than $23 a day, and his prices include food, if you want to use his. Have a fun trip!

I'm another one who uses Canine Country Inn and love it. One thing that I do warn you about is ask how much it is for bathing your pet if you want them to do that for when you pick him/her up. I know that's pretty expensive but can't remember off hand how much. We are still going to use them but bath them ourselves.

I can also vouch for Texas Pet Bed & Breakfast. I get my Westie groomed there and they do a wonderful job. They are more expensive than Canine Country Inn but they would be my second choice. Hope this helps!
