Has anyone ever tried BrightSpark by Native Remedies for ADHD symptoms? My 9 yr old son takes medication for ADHD and has for quite some time. I am just curious about this type of herbal remedy. My daughter (5 yrs old) is following in her brother's footsteps and we may look into other options for her when and if necessary. I have read some great reviews but would like to hear more. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I am all about alternative to medication. I must have missed your request or I would have responded sooner!
My alternative to medication was for my son who is now 13yr. and had asthma and allergy problems. The doctors put him on allergy meds. and an inhaler. I did it for awhile, he was 7 or 8 at the time. Then the doctors wanted to take out his tonsils and adenoids! My husband had just changed jobs and we didn't have insurance for a few months..it was fate stepping in thankfully! A friend of mine told me about a product called opc-3 (powerful antioxidants) and we tried them a few months before allergy season. We had no problems with our allergies and the next winter his asthma was under control..no inhaler needed! Because opc-3 is so powerful and good for our bodies it helps many other health issues such as ADHD in children and adults. B-vitamins are also great to use in addition. B-vitamins along with folic acid is calming to the nervous system. It really works well and tastes great. These products are Isotonix, which means it is powder, mixed with water. I mix my kids opc-3 with children's vitamins which are also Isotonix. They are healthier for it and I would recommend them to anybody with kids with or without health issues. The webportal is www.marketamerica.com/2bewell the products are listed on the upper left side under ma products, Health and Nutrition. Ask if you have any further questions..I can give you testimonials! Take care.

Have you heard about LIMU? My daughter is also ADHD, but "too young" for meds (can't havemeds until they are 4). I have had her drinking LIMU for about 3 months now and she is calmer & more focused. I can't wait for our appointment next month at Children's Mercy Behavioral Unit to show them her improvements!!

ALSO My best friend has an autistic child who is doing PHENOMENAL!! Check it out at www.easylimu.com

Have you heard of Mona Vie? I have a friend who sells it and she said that some moms in the Tulsa area are giving it to their kids with ADHD and have seen improvements in their behavior. Mona Vie is a liquid vitamin. You can google it and that should bring up thier website. I do not have any experience with ADHD or Mona Vie, I have just heard about the benefits of Mona Vie. I hope this helps.

I haven't heard of BrightSpark but I do understand your concerns with using the prescription meds. They can have many serious consequences. I do know of a natual product that some of my friends have had great luck with--their kids didn't need any other meds after they started using it. It's called Stress-ese and made by a company called Livinity. It promotes concentration when taken in the morning and more restful sleep when taken in the evening. Safe for children, all natural and fast acting. They have just reformulated it to make it more concentrated and it should be back on the site any day. See www.livinity.com/heidiroddey if you would like to see more about it. Good luck!
