I just started having some adominal pain on my right side. I just recently, last 2 weeks, just blew up. Is it just my legiments and tendons or is it something worse?

I am guess you mean that you just got bigger, but if you mean that besides your belly getting bigger - your legs are swelling, etc, I would recommend seeing your doctor. Swelling is normal and so is some pain, but I had quite a bit of pain in my right side and then I ended up with pre-eclampsia. I never knew this was a symptom but after I was diagnosed, I had 3 people ask me if I had side pain.
I think pre-eclampsia comes on later in pregnancy and I started getting that pain more near 7 to 8 months along, but just go have that ruled out.

While there are 'growing' pains, just blowing up doesn't sound ordinary or normal. I would suggest, strongly, that you talk with your ob/gyn just to make sure. Not knowing what your tolerance for pain is makes it difficult to answer. Take good care.

The right side can also be gallbladder. Go talk to your dr. just to be safe.

Hi C.,
I don't know what you mean by, you just blew up but, have you been to the Dr. about this? There is a very good chance that you might have an appendix that is acting up. I would call the first thing in the morning. They will be able to tell you immediately if anything is going on. When it happened to me it was worse in the morning hours. Take care and congrats on your soon to be bundle of joy. A.

C. - If you've ruled out any illness, and what you mean is that your belly seems suddenly huge (my "expansion" was always right around 5 months, too) then what you're feeling is round ligament pain. My chiropractor explained it to me - your uterus is like a balloon sitting in your pelvis. It can get twisted and sit askew, which causes pain in the ligaments holding it. Now, not all chiropractors know about pregnancy, but if you want relief, find a chiro who does, and he/she can help ease your pain tremendously. Mine gently rubbed in circles on the area of trouble and had me raise my knee up above my belly at a certain angle, and it helped so much! (Not to mention the relief he gave me from the back pain and sciatica that came in the end months! And yet I love being pregnant and can't wait until the right time for #4!)
I would look for a good family chiropractor - it is so helpful for baby, too right after delivery, because their spine and neck often get put out of place during delivery and that makes for a fussy baby. Gentle massage of the spine with the thumbs is all it takes for a chiro to get baby in perfect working order again!

Blessings!
