We had my son'srhird birthday party at Spoons on the Mckinney square. It was at 9 AM and a pajamas and pancakes party. For favors, I used plain white t's and made iron ons that said "I partied in my pjs". It was a huge hit!! The owner videoed the party, so look at the site and see...if that sounds interesting. Good luck!

My daughter just turned 3 in June. We had her Sponge Bob party at Pump It Up. The whole crew of kids had a blast from age 3 to age 50. It does cost a little more than most, but the only kids in there are the ones in your party, they set up and clean up and even write down the gift list for you... It was great!

Have a pizza party! Cavalli Pizza has a mobile wood-fired pizza oven they can bring on location and prepare pizza, etc. The kids can even help in the 'dough tossing'.

Check them out here:

We had our daughter's 3rd birthday party at the Park Lane Ranch - Park Lane and Greenville in Dallas. They have a petting zoo, miniature golf (which only a few older kids that came used) and a big yard - we set up games and a nice inside area (we had a craft for kids to do). We also paid extra for the pony rides... the kids loved, loved the petting zoo. They spent a lot more time and were entertained more than I thought they would be. It was great. Some of her friends still talk about it. http://www.parklaneranch.com/children.html

This year we had her party at ASI gymnastics which was also great. Low involvement (which was good since we have twin babies now). The kids run, jump, bounce, etc.... it was cost effective and they all had good naps later that day.

My vote is for The Little Gym. There is one in Plano and they do a FANTASTIC job at keeping the kids going. You can purchase the balloons from them and they have the party plates. The only thing you have to do is bring the food and they do the rest! My daughter has had 3 parties there and the parents love how clean and organized it is. Good luck
