"Diaper rash cream is supposed to hurt." Those are the exact words from my dad.. . . Is this true???? I don't believe it, but my dad is adamant about it. My son is the point of needing to get a prescription for his diaper rash. I currently using Boudreaux's Butt Paste and it's not working. I have tried all the "natural" ways including baking soda bath, let it air out, Vaseline, chamomile tea in bath. Our six month old has a rash on her bottom. We noticed a small couple of spots so started putting on A&D Ointment and change her every couple hours, whether really wet or not...(more frequently if needed...) and everyday the rash has gotten worse. I have an eight month old daughter. First of all, by the standard growth chart, she's about 2 lbs underweight (as in, off the charts) and the pediatrician makes SURE I am aware of this at the end of every visit. my 17 month old daughter constantly has a bad irritation in a crease on her neck, it is where drool and everything else gets and stays. 11 Month Old Has Had Diarrhea for Almost a Week. HELP!

I have a beautiful 11 month old boy who "caught a bug" last week and quickly recovered. However, the diarrhea has remained and his poor little bottom is so raw! The doctor says not to worry, that the diarrhea just takes a little longer to get over and it can hang on awhile. We are doing as the doctor says and giving him his formula, pedialyte, and baby food; but his condition is breaking my heart! He is acting normally until he "goes," then he starts to whimper because it hurts. Any suggestions, PLEASE?
