Hi Moms, Mine is a long story. When Nate was born 7 weeks ago, he was tongue-tied and would not nurse in the hospital so the lactation consultant gave me a nipple shield. 9 Month Old Baby with Thrush

Hello. I just wanted to ask anyone that has experience with a baby having thrush, any advice that you may have. My nine month old baby has thrush. At first I thought that it was just milk residue because I don't have it and I am exclusively breastfeeding. But sure enough, that's what it is. I covers a large portion of her tongue. Her doctor has prescribed Nystatin. She hates the taste and I hate giving it to her. I have read that a natural remedy called Gentian Violet works well. Has anyone else used that before for thrush?
