What Is the Best Convertible Carseat?

My 8 month old son is about to out grow his infant carrier. I need to buy a carseat that will face in the rear position, switch to forward facing, and hopefully go into a booster. I have been looking at some online consumer reports. II want something that is safe, comfortable for my child, and less expensive than the Britax carseats. I saw some positive reports for the Safety 1st All-in-One Deluxe Convertible Car Seat. Does anyone have that one? Or, is there another one you absolutely love and would recommend? Please include the...

Need New Baby Sling for My 7Month Old

My hand-me-down sling started to rip and I am in the market for a new one. I used the sling with my first son until he was over a year and I can't live without one. There are so many brands that I do not know what one to buy. I want an easy on, easy off secure sling for carrying my 7 month old on my hip and for nursing. Any suggestions?

Question About Night Time Diaper for a 15 M Old Boy

I am happy with the Luv's brand we use during the day but my little man wakes up everynight because he has peed through his diaper and soaked his jammies. I change him right before I put him to sleep but that doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Blackberry, Palm Pre, Droid Luv Em or Hate Em?

I will be getting a new phone within the next 4-6 months. It is mind-boggling, trying to think of what will be a good fit for me. I talk and text, but not excessively (mostly because I am in my vehicle so much!). I like to take pictures on my phone, but only to share phone-to-phone. I have never retrieved them off the phone to computer. My husband has a blackberry for work and I am not all that impressed with it He's had both the Storm and Curve. It is very possible I would just need to get used to it. What about the Palm Pre or...

First Road Trip with Twins

Hello, we will be talking our first long distance road trip to visit both sets of grandparents this Thanksgiving. Neither set of grandparents have any infant/toddler equipment and I am unsure what to pack for the trip. Also, the girls each sleep in their own crib so what should I do about bedding at the grandparents houses? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

First Time Mom-to-be Overwhelmed with All the Products!

Hi Moms, I am a first time mom-to-be (14 weeks) and have been researching the many products out there for babies. I am basically seeking advice about any and all products that you feel were necessary/useful for a baby. I don't have a lot of space and really want to avoid registering for items that you found to be unnecessary. Were there any products you got that you thought you would love and just ended up never using? Or, on the contrary, an item that was just a total lifesaver? I am also curious about the recommended strollers,...

Safety Harness Question

I'm sure this has been thoroughly covered elsewhere, but I was interested in the opinions of those moms who are opposed to using a safety harness. How is that different than strapping your kids into a stroller? That is also a form of restraint. Yes, Luv, I mean the "leashes." Thanks. Sue H., sorry, I didn't intend to ask an inflammatory question. Just genuinely curious about other's opinions. Thanks.
