Any Advice on Toys to Buy
I have a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old boy. I am looking for ideas on what to get them for Christmas. I need toys that are going to keep their interest for more than 10 minutes. Any ideas??
Thanks!!

Have you tried Elmo Live or Elmo's World Dvd's?? My son is obsessed, maybe to an unhealthy point. But i can get things done and it keeps him happy for over an hour!!

I am getting my nephews spy gear. It is a belt with 4 different spy things on it. That is their newest phaze and they love to pretend to be spies. One is 5 and the other is 3.

We just got the Fisher Price Computer Cool School - we found the lowest price at Costco and it was still $40 so not cheap. It hooks up to your computer and locks everything else out so they can't mess with your desktop. It has its own keyboard and stylus. My nearly 3yo daughter loves it.

Hi,
I also have 4 y.o. and 2 y.o. boys and they love anything related to building - Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, Legos - these definitely keep their interest for the most amount of time (out of all their toys). For my older son, we're also buying that new Tag reading system pen - if your older son enjoys reading, he might like that. Other things they both like - games... Gone Fishin is one of their new faves these days. Good luck - keeping little boys busy is definitely no easy task :)

Both of my kids love the Aquadoodle toys. If you haven't seen them before they are pretty neat. You fill a "pen" with water and then there's a mat that the kids can draw on. It turns blue where they write and when the water dries they can do it all over again. I think they sell stamps that go with it too. When my youngest was two we got her one that plays Old McDonald and other animal sounds while you draw. She loved it and it helped her with her fine motor skills. My kids are now 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 and still take them out.
They also sell foam building blocks that look like real wood but are sooooooo much quieter. They are a big hit with my kids and are usually popular with most of the kids we have over.
Hope this helps
