First Trimester Screening

so i went to my first doctors appointment a few days ago and it turns out im further along than i thought i was.. i had estimated i was between 8and 9 weeks along and when my doctor did the ultrasound she said i was actually about 12 weeks.. i was told that i would be called from someone from a different doctors office to perform my 18-20 week ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby.. when the guy from that office called at first he thought i was calling for first trimester screening and then was like o0o nevermind your too late for...

First Trimester Screening

Mamas, I need some advice. I was 38 years old when I had my first baby. I avoided all prenatal testing except the level II ultrasound and preferred to keep my head in the sand just hoping that I would have a healthy baby, and thankfully I did. Now I will be 40 at my due date for baby #2 and I'm tossing around the idea of the first trimester screening... partly because it is non-invasive -- just and ultrasound and a finger prick. No Morning Sickness...

Not that I'm complaining, but I'm 7 weeks along and still no sign of morning sickness. I had terrible morning sickness during the 1st trimester of my 1st pregnancy, and it feels strange to feel so healthy right now. Anybody had morning sickness make its debut after 7 weeks? Or might I just be lucky enough not to get it at all?
