Where/what Should I Register For????

Hi Moms, This is our first child and I want to make sure and register at a great store and for things we really actually will need/use. Can you suggest where you would register at and what you absolutely cannot live without for a newborn/infant. Things you wish people would have gotten for you... if you'd known how much you'd use it?
