The neighborhood I live in is on the NE side, off of Wetmore Rd. Its a really nice little neighborhood, very quiet and there are always houses for rent in that particular range

I was in this same situation and someone referred to me to go to www.gosection8.com...I do realize that you may not be on any type of housing assistance but you can still build a profile and call the landlords of these houses. You'll be surprised at how many rent to people not on public housing. I am a witness to it...I am renting a 3bdr, 2ba, 2 car gar. in Converse. I found the house on this website!

There is a rent house 3 bedroom 2 bath right down the street from me. It is 830 a month. The schools are Brauchle elementary school, Stevenson middle school and taft high school. If you are interested let me know and i will go get a phone number for you.
