Looking to Rent a Pool?
My husband is turning 30 and I am thinking about throwing him a surprise party. I know he'd LOVE a pool party but we don't have a pool. Is it possible to rent a pool completely? Not just throw a party there with other people, but really rent out the whole thing? We live in the South Hills. Thanks everyone!
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make it sound like I wanted the pool set up at my house. LOL. I mean rent it the way you'd rent a hall or clubhouse.
So What Happened?™
Thanks to everyone! I am going to check out Scott pool and likely rent it out NEXT year for a combo party- my sons are both summer birthdays too! It would be most cost effective that way. I am so grateful for your suggestions!

I know that in Robinsone Township. That you can rent the town pool well you could. So call around to local public pools and see what they say.

We live in Greentree and you can rent their pool for private parties but I don't know what the cost is for non-greentree residents. Maybe check your local community pool first for better rates....

I live in Brentwood and I know different organizations have rented out our local pool for parties; I think you just have to have your event after the pool has closed for the evening. From what I remember, they have to be able to find lifeguards willing to work the extra hours and it is fairly expensive since they have to pay several of them to be there.

I live in Georgetown Estates. We have a pool/clubhouse. I know you can rent the clubhouse, I don't know about the pool too. Try contacting Amos Orner at West Point Community Management ###-###-####
Hope this helps! (We are located inbetween Peter's TWP and Upper St Clair about 10 minutes SOUTH of the Village Mall)

Now thats a new one. Im not sure but I would say no bc of set up and whatnot but then again I could be wrong. I remember when I was in college a fraternity once rented a hot tub that was on some sort of trailer so I guess its possible they rent pools?
What part of South Hills are you in? I know in Whitehall, if your a resident you can rent Brennan park for free and its right next to the pool.
Another idea would be to buy one of those Bonazi water slides. They cost a few hundred $s but I would assume if you were willing to rent a pool you'd be spending that much any way.
HOpe this helps

Maybe you have a neighbor or a relative that has a nice pool you could "borrow"?
