Who's Been to Monkey Bizness?

I just heard about Monkey Bizness at the Great Mall. I wondered who has been and what ages it is best for? I have 9 year old twins, so I'm wondering if it is too small for their age? Looking for opinions from someone who's been there. Thanks!

What can I do next?

They are the perfect age, I took my children there and thy had a blast. It will tire them out though because of how large the inflatables are.

L.,

To be honest, Monkey Buzness is great for the 5-7 age.
NOW They will tell you all ages like it, but unless you have in-active 9 year olds, your boys will get bored very quickly.

My now 9 year old, had his 8th birthday there... and he did not enjoy it. Nor did his friends, they found it kind of lame...

BUT in the mall there is also Mini Golf, with black light.. I am not for sure what it is called. We did that one year, and everyone loved it, (just don't have more than 10 kids!)

I have 5 children, so we have tried out most places.. If your twins are on the tall side, the racing place on Murlen and Santa Fe, is great OR For my 9 yr old's birthday we went to LASER TAG In the old Olathe Theater by Pizza Street. (I wouldn't purchase the tokens for the front games- half of the games don't work, and they have no refunds)BUT We had just as many girls attend as we did boys. Everyone liked the laser part, we played 2 games. (the first game is to understand what is going on)

I hear the best is INCREDIBOWL, you can choose from a few options.. Cake included-bowling-laser tag-skating-video games-climbing walls. But it can get costly if you have a lot of kids.

Chuckie Cheese is one of the less expensive ones now, with everything being one token. The atmosphere is a bit whiskey-tango-trashy, if you know what I mean, but my kids Always are up for Chuckies Cheese. Just keep your belongings close, and mark your shoes with your names.

We have also did a movie party at the Mall, they have a party room and everything. They even reserve you a place in the theater for your group.

Good luck!

A water slide party or a party at the pool could be nice too. We have even had house parties, with maps and hidden treasures. They seem to like that.

One of my boys went to one last summer where the mom put the sprinkler under her trampolene, It looked like a blast... an they all brought their own water guns, she had buckets placed all over the yard for refills..
He came home wet, towel and all, but he had lots of fun.

Good Luck! One thing kids remember,,, if they had fun.. not what they did, but if they had fun doing it.

No it would be perfect for them it's a bunch of those moonwalks all in one room and a rock wall and it's not that bad priced to go.

Monkey Bizness is nice because you don't have to go during a specific time slot. There are two big rooms that are open for play. The inflatables are large--I think 9 year olds would enjoy it. Great for a super hot day!

L.,

I have been to Monkey Bizness @ the Great Mall...Although I have a 3.5 year old, I have seen older kids there enjoying it as much as the younger ones. I think 5th grade and up would be too old for it. Just my opinion.

My soon-to-be-5 year-old son loves Monkey Bizness, but it would definitely not be too "young" for your boys. It's a great place for kids to blow off some steam! If you get on their website & sign up for Monkey Mail, you may get coupons, too.

I was just there this past weekend with my 2 daughter ages 3 and 9. Whats great about monkey bizness if you call before they open and ask if there are any partys scheduled for that morning, and there aren't, they open up the party area for play which is huge compare to the part you see when youre walking through the mall. My 9 year old loved it,youre boys will too.
