I am looking to take some good photos of my baby in a nice big blue field. :-D
Anyone seen any good spots? Or taken their own photos yet?

Near Denton if possible, but I can travel. ;-P

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for the Denton Bluebonnet info. We ended up in Plano near my father's house at Custer and Spring Creek Parkway. There is a great little park (Bluebonnet Park, actually) where we got some wonderful shots. Wish everyone well!

I agree, I just passed the field in Denton on University Dr. and it's really beautiful again this year. Heading east from I35, continue on University Dr./Hwy. 380, pass the light on Bonnie Brae St., and turn right on the next street, which is Ector St. The bluebonnet field is there on the right.

The bluebonnets in Denton on University Blvd. are nice this year. They are still in full bloom and I've seen lots of folks taking pics there. Have fun!

This might make you laugh and encourage you NOT to choose the field off 114 in Westlake's modern office park:

I have seen some along 35W a little south of the Speedway on some of the on/off ramps where it isn't too close to traffic.

Hope you have better luck than me!

I drove past a beautiful field where lots of people where playing and taking photos this weekend. I was on Custer road. I went down 380 and made a right on Custer to some friends house in plano. I couldn't tell you how far down Custer but maybe 5 miles?? I just have a 1 month old and was thinking of taking him there for pics too.

I'm also looking for a good spot. I'm in Lewisville, so not too far from you. If I come across one I'll let you know. If you do please let me know as well. Maybe between the two of us we'll find something! Good luck!

There's a great field just east of 35 and 380. If you exit 35 onto 380 (which I believe is also called University) and go east - it's just a mile or two on the right. I haven't been this year yet but the last two years it's been gorgeous. That's our favourite blue bonnet site.
