What Kind of Vehicle Would YOU Be Described As?

The car questions got me thinking...

and (sadly? lol) as a mom of many, my 'car' identity is wrapped up in a 15 passenger dodge van...

BUT...in my 'pre kiddos' younger days...I WAS an alpha romeo...red...convertible...

What were/are YOU?

Red mustang five speed with two car seats in the back lol. My husband drives the bus err, I mean, CUV because he can't drive a stick.

Prior to having kids I drove a Neon...I know, it makes NO sense.

Prekids I was fierce, fast, pretty, and prone to breaking in spectacular fashion. Also military. So I'd say a James Bond Car.

Post kids I'm like a classic mustang sitting in the rain for a few decades, or the twisted wreck left by Bond in a ditch. THE POTENTIAL is there to be a great car again (but not James Bond, Q came up with better newer models in the interim)... But I sure need a helluva lot of work!!!

in my younger days i'd have to go with my beloved first car, a '67 mustang fastback, metallic green with a 289 high performance engine and 4 barrel holly carb (i'm so dating myself!)
and i don't really fit the purty new/used lexus my sweet dh recently bought me. i love it, but it's much sexier than i.
i'm probably my farm truck. sturdy, always get where i'm going, but very...very.....slowly.........

I'm 2011 Ford Expedition King Ranch Edition. (Or a 2012 Nissan Frontier, depending on the day.)

I used to have a Harley, but sold it because I can't deliver cakes and cupcakes on it. I wish I were a '66 Mustang Convertible...in red. ;)

My car actually fits me pretty well. It's a Honda CRV. Reliable, a family car, secure, and a really loud color. Yep that's me.

If you are talking about physically I am a step side truck. Streamlined everywhere else with a flared backside.

A Green VW Beetle. That's what my previous car was, and it suited me perfectly! It was fun, unique, and so happy! I would like to have another one, but I hate the new body style. Now I drive a Mazda 3, and I like it, but it's not as fun as the Beetle.

HAHA We play this game in the car. We guess who we have in mind by asking questions like this, car, pie, tree

So I am always described as the fullsize conversion van with a class 3 hitch, pulling a trailer or a boat. Ours is a GMC though. ;o)

Pre-kid days, the party van.

It would depend on what time in my life.

My first car was a hot rod (I really miss that car).

Than I had the cheap clunkers while trying to survive on my own (in my early 20’s), but as I got older I would say I am a mid-sized SUV. I can have fun off road and still carry the family and all the stuff around.

I don't know that much about cars.... I know some of he mechanics: how to change oil, how to change tire, engine stuff.... but about particular cars, you got me!

My first car was a 1977 Chevy Nova with a 350 hp engine, which meant it was fast. I could beat any preppy guy in his land rover at the stoplight anytime. It had an amazing sound system, and didn't even have 100k miles on it. It was a beast. A stick shift, and though it looked a little rough, it was so freaking awesome. I dream about having one again. I recently told my husband, in all seriousness, that if he could find me another, or comparable, I would trade in my completely paid off minivan, and he could buy a nice truck. I would do it in a heartbeat. There's plenty of room in the back for 3 kids. ;)

So with those things on it's checklist: fast, loud music, rough around the edges*, but amazing inside, I'd say that's me ;)

Have a great day!
KATIE
