What Is Your Favorite Diaper Brand?
I have always used Pampers and now that my daughter is bigger the quantity of diapers per package has dropped. It has caused me to reconsider...are the brands that cost less just as good?... what about generic or store brands? Please Moms tell me your thoughts and experiences with different diaper brands. (I just bought a package of Luvs, haven't tried them yet though).

Hi M.,
Being a mother of 3 and a child care provider, I have found that pampers are the best! They don't leak, they are comfortable, it doesn't matter the size of the child, and they smell good!! I use Luvs myself to save a little money, but my little one is a very chubby baby so the Luvs work fine with him, but I've seen Luvs leak on the skinnier babies. I did buy the white cloud brand a couple times for my daughter and son and with both of them the white cloud diapers caused rashes and yeast build up. I think they just don't soak up as good so when the baby gets wet its just sitting on their skin until they get changed. I know pampers are the most money, but hey you know what...its worth it..to have a happy baby and a happy Momma!!

don't give up the pampers they are the best. Luvs are terrible and huggies just don't fit right. I used pampers and loved them. If you use coupons for them they really are not that high priced.

I do not like Luvs...they leak for my kids. Huggies are ok but are bulky...Pampers are my vote. I have yet to have a leak! You may get more for less with generics, but you'll inevitably go thru more diapers/day. I find that if I watch the ads, I can combine my coupons with Walgreens sales and get the best price. Also, Walgreens prints coupons with every diaper purchase, so with their sale price and their coupon as well as the mfg coupon I usually pay about $7 for a pkg. This last time I got a case for $19.

the number of diapers per pack drops every size you go up.. but the kids need less changes per day.
My duaghter is skinny so pampers fit her best... Huggies are fine but do not fit as well.
My favorite store brand diaper is Kroger. But the diapers run smaller so we have togo up a size so it really isnt a savings.
pampers are on sale this week at CVS for 8.99 a pack - which is the best price you will find these days. I thnk the sale ends saturday.

Huggies all the way for us. I pay about 21 dollars for 150 size 4 diapers for my 22 month old. It last us 3 weeks. Also u have to think this way too. At what age r u planning on starting to potty train??? Right now we use diapers and pull ups so we save even more. Also with working in retail myself ... dont' forget alot of places like walmart comp shop. You can take other store ads into walmart and get it for their price. Good luck

I had good luck with Target's brand of diapers, but constant trouble with Huggies and Luvs. Pampers were probably my best experience.

I tried almost every brand available including store brands with my son. I hated the cheap diapers. Pampers were my favorite. Every brand reduces the number of diapers as the size increases.
The cheapest place I have found to buy diapers is diapers.com. The shipping is free if you spend over $50.00. I generally buy 2 cases at a time. I don't have to buy them that often and they are delivered right to my door!

LUV's hands down - cheaper, strong, comfy.
