Wedding Venues in Knoxville, TN?

I live about 1.5 hours from there, but don;t know anything about Knoxville. It is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which has tons of wedding chappels and venuse that plan the wedding in the mountains or the lake, ect. You chould check into some of those. Congrats!!

I live in Knoxville and these are the places that I can think of that look nice to have a wedding at:

Gettysvue country club (have been inside - nice interior)
Sterchi Mansion
Ijams nature center
Club Le Conte
The Orangery (don't know if you could have ceremony there)
Crescent Bend House and Gardens (aka Armstrong-Lockett House)
Maple Grove Inn
University of Tennessee Gardens
Bleak House (Confederate Memorial Hall)
Dara's Gardens
Middlebrook Gardens
Cherokee Country Club
Smithview Pavillion (actually in Maryville, just south of Knoxville - went to a wedding here and it was very nice)

Thinking about your question, I don't know if you meant the ceremony or the reception or both. I don't know if you can do both at these places or not. I don't know anything about the pricing (although I would guess that Club Le Conte, the Orangery, and Cherokee Country Club are expensive). I didn't get married here so don't know from firsthand experience. But hope this lists helps you with a place to start!!

Just be warned-good and cheap never belong in the same sentence. Look for value but don't go looking for cheap because you will be disappointed. My best advice is to have a reasonable budget in mind before contacting any place for your wedding. That way you won't waste your time or theirs.

I would google wedding chapels in Gatlinburg. It's close enough and they have package deals that include different things so you can customize it to your budget. Some just do the ceremony, some do it and the reception.
There is often a limit on how many guests and a time limit on the reception room/hall. I havent seen an ugly wedding chapel but some of them are tucked in the mountains and some of them are right on the 'strip' through downtown. Many of them have gardens available for the ceremony, and many of them will do the ceremony in an outdoor setting of your choice. (Greenbrier Park is beautiful in a rustic mountain stream setting but there are only port a potties at the pavillion-which has a huge fireplace. We loved it but vetoed it because of the port a johns) Dont forget to ask about parking and directions or how difficult it is to find.
