Hillside Veterinary Clinic on Mockingbird (between Skillman & Abrams) is fantastic - they are open 7 days a week from 7am til midnight. They are very friendly, and prices are reasonable.
The vets at Lakewood Vet on Richmond near Abrams come highly recommended (my mom & sister use them). There is a new vet office on Skillman near Live Oak (just across from La Calle Doce restaurant). I have heard good things about them as well.

We love Dr. Deborah Charles at Casa Linda Animal Clinic on Garland Road at Jupiter.
We go to Holt Veterinary clinic. They are great there.
We use Casa Linda Animal Clinic for years. They've worked out really well, and we like the vets there a lot. My favorite is Dr. Charles. In addition, if you ever have costly procedures that need to be done, they work with you on various options for your pet and payment.
Dr.Hernandez is who my whole family has been using. Anyone I have ever referred has really enjoyed him. He will call you himself with any questions you might have.

Not quite LAkewood, but nearby is Eastlake Vet. They are the orange building on Northwest Highway between Easton and Audelia.

Dr. Tucker at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital is great. We've been going there for years.
