Valentines Ideas for Hubby

I am awful at coming up with ideas for the holidays! My husband always comes up with the best gifts for me - things I didn't even know I asked for but he remembers everything. I have some ideas for him but wanted something fun and different. Does anyone have any different ideas for Valentines Day for hubbies??

Thank you!!

What can I do next?

I had the same problem last year. So I did a search on men's valentines gifts. I found this little glass block and it says Soul mate, and then has the dictionary definition of it. And then at the bottem it says I.E. Frank and L.. or whatever names you want. It's really cool. My husband loved it and he keeps it on his desk at work. It's from Wal-mart.com Good luck.

A coupon book is always fun! I make mine, they do sell them at stores. I put things in there, ie massage 15 minutes, pedicure (done by me), and then some funny things (well he thinks they are) mow the lawn, trim the shrubs, chores that he usually takes care of. My friends husband loves golf, so she went out and bought gift certificates to two different courses he doesn't frequent. Just take something he loves (hobby) and capitalize on that thought! Good Luck!

Last year for my boyfriend i printed out love qoutes. and made them into little notes and placed then around the house. He still talks about it. This year i am going to attempt to make a heart shape cookie or cake and dress up like a baker when i give it to him.

Hi R.,

It is wonderful having a husband that really "knows" you, isn't it. I have one, too. Make a list of things he really enjoys, things that would amaze him that you thought of, and base your gift on that. It could be as simple as his favorite food, or possibly lingerie for YOU. Remember that gifts come from the heart, not necessarily from the pocketbook. Good luck!

When I got married I made a cd of my husbands favorite songs as a wedding present for him. He is one of those people that has everything he wants and is extremely hard to buy for. He loved it and has worn it out. This Valentines I am making another cd with songs from the same genre. Happy Valentines Day!

We did a day calendar for my husband with reasons why we loved him. Some of them got really silly, like because you always mow the lawn or because you can grow a beard. He loved it and it was something new everyday.

Well my fiance and i have been together for 4 years and What we end up doing for eachother is we go out to eat and then share in a nice evening spoiling eachoter. We do the hot bubble bath and then give eachother massages with some soft music and candles. Then we finish it with a little itimacy.
If you have kids that is sill doable just later in the evening. I have to kids and we usually wait until the weekend that I do not have the children to do this... Sound odd i know but we also live 4 hours apart at this time until we get married.

Have fun with it,
VAL

Hi R.,

One year, I bought a box of kids Valentines and put them all over the place. I waited until my husband fell asleep and put one on the coffee maker, one in his car, one in the shower (taped to the faucet), taped to the bathroom mirror, etc. He had fun finding them. He hates to out for Valentines Day so I usually end up cooking a special dinner.

Good luck!!

This year the the sitter is taking our son to her mom's so we can have a peaceful 1.5 hr in-home massage. Afterwards, we're going out for a nice dinner and... well... you know.
