We're going on vacation next month and I want to look my best in a swimsuit, so I am considering a body wrap. Has anyone tried and seen results from just one wrap?

What can I do next?

I did the same thing, I tried the dream wrap before I went on vacation. I lost a total of 3 inches but those 3 inches really didnt make a difference or were not noticable. They total the inches from the whole body. So it was 1 inch here 1 inch there and so forth. I felt like I wasted my money. They suggested that I try the power wrap (I think that is what it is called, the whole body wrap)next time, but doubt it I will go back. I am not a big person just wanted to lose a couple of inches from my abs in a quick way, but I wasnt exactly happy. Maybe more were needed.

Yes, I used to get wraps in Hawaii and loved them. The first time I lost about 14 inches or something crazy like that. I did not lose any pounds though. It was so good for my skin as well, it really made my skin softer than ever for several weeks. I would recommend them for sure!

I did a basic wrap where they just wrap you and then you wait for a half hour. Absolute waste of time and money will never ever do it again. I guess my skin was a little smoother, but I could have done the same thing with a scrub and lotion.

I did it too. I also thought it was a waste of time and money.

Let me also say I found the whole process quite revolting. They wrap you like a mummy then put your feet and hands in plastic bags. You get on an eliptical-type machine (I was on a Gazelle if that means anything to you) then, as your body gives off water, the bags on your hands and feet fill up with the water. I thought it was pretty gross to be up on that machine with water swishing around my feet and dripping off my nose.

I did it and found it to be a huge waste of money. I supposedly lost several inches, but I couldn't tell, not even in my clothes.

Tried it before I went on a vacation once. it did help a little with cellulite but plan on gaining all the inches back during vacation. Also, buy anything especially the bra they try to sell you.

I agree with most of your responses. It is basically squeezing out the water so your skin tightens. You don't lose fat. I didn't see any drastic results and regained the inches quickly. Supposedly, the results last longer if you only drink water and avoid salty foods. I didn't think it was worth the money. One of my magazines was talking about a cellulite patch that you buy at the drugstore. I think it's by Nivea or Neutrogena (some major company). It's fairly inexpensive and they said it does work. That might be a better use of your time and money.

Enjoy your vacation.
