Sweaty Feet

My little girl is 16 months has sweaty feet and I'm concern about this. I bath her every night and she use Stride Rite shoes all the time. But when I come to pick up her to the day care and her little feets have a cheese smell, sometimes is uncomfortable for both. Some of you can sugest me a powder or lotion?, I will appreciate any help. Have a nice day.

What can I do next?

she's probably in those shoes for a lot of hours during the day...do they take her shoes off to sleep?
I would ask them to if they don't...
I'd talk to her pediatrician, too- maybe even get a dr's note if need be for daycare to give her some time during the day when her feet are not in shoes...

Don't scrimp on your little one's feet. The development of her little feet is of the utmost importance. 1. does she really even need shoes? 2. if so think about getting some Robees- they are about $29 per pair but they are all you will need and you can actually find very good immitations at Target for about $12. They are wonderful and come recommended by most pediatricians.

I heard on Oprah, from Dr Oz, a well known heart surgeon, that sweaty, stinky feet can be cured by soaking the feet with tea bags. Prepare tea as usual,,,let cool down to warm, and soak. He says to do this every day for a week.

It is better for them not to even wear shoes unless they are going to be outside. Take the shoes off and let her feet breathe!!
Good luck.
