My daughter just moved here from Lafayette and will be here for 4 months. She is a die hard Sushi customer and needs a recommendation for some good Sushi restaurants in Plano. Any help??

What can I do next?

HI A.-

I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana and moved here 5 yrs. ago since Katrina. I loved Sake Cafe back home and thought that I wouldn't find some place just as good but I really enjoyed Japon Sushi/Hibatchi which is located off of Preston/Spring Creek. They are a little pricey but worth the money! Good Luck with your search!

We LOVE Sushi Sake in Richardson (N. Collins Blvd and 75 near Campbell) it is consistently the best place year after year.

Japan House in Plano across from Collin Creek mall is great. Also Japon Sushi/Hibachi at Preston/Spring Creek is really good too. I have heard Geisha house on 190/Coit next to Central Market is good too, although I haven't had the chance to try yet.

We love RA at the shops at Legacy (dallas north toll and legacy), also like Bluefish a lot in Addison. Used to go to Sushi Rock off 75 and park??
She should also treat herself sometime to Steel in downtown dallas... excellent!!!

I'm half Japanese....good sushi is so important!! We recently went to Geisha (190/coit) and it was not good...the main ingredient was left out of one of the two rolls that we ordered....the restaurant was not busy (1:30pm), but the young staff were distracted. The waiter brought the miso soup twice! We have also loved the restaurant (name ?) across the street from Richardson Memorial Hospital on Campbell. I believe that they are Korean....great service and delicious...we sat at the sushi bar. We've been twice and it was great both times. The restaurant was full both times that we went.
