Suggestions for Mascara

I've been using the same mascara for a couple of years now; L'Oreal Double extend. It has been great, no smudges or black circles plus water-proof. This last time around has not been so good. I absolutely do not touch my eyes when wearing mascara & last time I put it on, it very quickly got all smudgy under my eyes. Anyone have any recommendations for good yet inexpensive mascara? Something I can buy at Target or CVS? Or a department store (Macy's is the closest to me) for around $15.

I am blonde with invisible eyelashes-haha. So I have a really hard time finding something that meets up to my standards. I love Cover Girl Professional (waterproof) mascara. The kind in the blue tube. It's hands down the best I have found- lasts all day, good coverage, waterproof. Been using if for years and years and have yet to find a better replacement.

My daughter LOVES Maybellienne Colossal 9X (yellow tube) at Target. Her lashes are beautiful.

I have great lashes as well but I prefer Dior Maximizer primer/conditioner ($28) followed by Clinique High Impact Mascara ($20ish).

Do you have a Sephora in your area? They have many name brands and you can test the products. That is how I found out about the primer that I LOVE.

Ever since I started using the primer, I've been asked if I have lash extensions because it does work well.

I believe there are some cheaper versions of primers/conditioners at Target as well.

I like Maybellienne Colossal 9X (yellow tube) as well. It's great and doesn't smudge.

I've used Clinique and VS as well. I wasn't overly fond with the brushes.

Really it depends on your lash time. Mine are thin.

My daughter and I both use Falsies by Maybelline. Yes, the name is funny! But wow does it work! I use the water proof and my daughter uses the regular. Really is amazing!

I've tried Maybelline, Clinique, etc. and the only ones that didn't make my eyes itchy and held up to all day wear (rubbing of eyes included), was Avon Wash-off Waterproof (followed by Almay's water proof). I've been using it for years and continue to love it! Two coats and I've got LONG lashes.

I use to wear Victoria Secret mascara but I think they stopped one of the products I used. I have had free samples from Lancome and I love it! I use to also wear Smashbox mascara--by far teh best with no lumps! Urban Decay is another good mascara. I'm very picky when it comes to mascara because I rub my eyes a lot!!!

Good luck!

I really like Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush mascara, it's only $9 or $10, or if you buy two $15, they always have some similar promotion going on. I really like it for everyday.
For night outs and special occasions, I love Dior's Blackout Extase, the formula is very wet for everyday however.

I like Clinique lash doubling mascara. Just for a change, and because I have pretty long lashes to start with and have sensitive eyes with contacts, I tried their Natural lash (or something like this) and found it was kind of whimpy. Might be good for a girl just beginning to wear makeup but for this Momma I need a little more omph.
I definitely have to buy a new tube after 3 months no matter what I wear as it starts to irritate my eyes.

My favorite mascara is actually from Mary Kay. I know that sounds crazy, but it's about $15 and it's water resistant. My neighbor sells the products and it's wonderful! You can go online and order from a local representative. If it's not urgent, it's worth the little bit of "wait time".

I try every single kind there is, and my hands down favorite is the new loreal! Collagen volume something..the ad has Gwen stefani on it, and the display. Amazing! Compares to the only other favorite I've ever had, Dior show.

I wear Clinique mascara, and love it. It's the only thing I will actually buy at the make-up counter. It lasts forever and doesn't smudge. I wear contacts and can put drops in and mess with them without problems. I don't remember the exact type I use, but it's the one with the double brush (normal wand on one side and then little comb thingy on the other).
