Get some Natures Miracle from either a pet store or the pet isle. It neutralizes the enzymes that cause the odor and is very effective. I work in the medical field and well let's just say that it has proven itself many times.

Can you just throw them in the washer? I washed many a shoe of my little ones. She'll be out growing them soon anyway... so even if the washing machine makes them wear out a little sooner...so what?
Wash them with vinegar.

Put them in the washing machine and dryer with regular laundry. We just washed my daughter's sneakers tonight.

Are the shoes plastic or leather?
Plastic shoes tend to be stinky in the first place.
I would drop the shoes in the washer with a diluted bit of bleach and then dry them.
That should do it.
Put them out in the sun to air out before putting them back on her again.

My friend throws her kids shoes into the washer with laundry detergent and then lets them dry out in the sun. I guess it depends on what kind of material they are. I did a pair of my own shoes that way and I think the label on mine just said to take out the insole liner thing first. My friend doesn't even do that, and their shoes always come out fine.

Throw in the washer or scrub them with an old toothbrush and lemon juice.

You need some thing to neurtalize the odor. Try letting some baking soda sit in them over night. If that does not help I would try some lysol disenfectant spray. Good luck

My niece vomited on my mom's carpet. My mom cleaned it up, cleaned it again, and again and the odor wouldn't go away. She made a mixture of Oxy powder and water poured it on the carpet, let it soak, cleaned it up and the odor was finally gone. If you have some, try Oxy powder and water. Pour it in the shoe and let it si overnight. Then rinse it out. Or try Nature's Miracle. Good luck!

I would spray them with 409 and let them sit overnight. If you can launder the shoes afterward do so, but if not just let the 409 dry on there.

I was my gym shoes in the washer all the time. Throw in some towels and stuff, and wash like normal and then air dry them- makes them look and smell brand new :)

I like the answer about the pet item that might be useful. I might also try vinegar. I find it cleans/cuts through a number of odors and is not another chemical you have to worry about.

vinegar should do the trick. The smell of the pee and the vinegar will go away after they dry. If for any reason that doesn't, a little borax will finish it. We had this problem several times during the potty training of my girls. Good luck!

Washing machine your detergent and Borax detergent. We have cats and they will occasionally pee on jackets or backpacks. If it can get a cat pee smell out it should work great on kids!

Put them in the washing maching. They can either air dry or if you have a rack that goes inside your dryer, you can use that and dry on a low setting.

Try some baking soda and let it sit overnight. Then add vinegar and rinse with water.
