I am a newly preggers mom that is 40. I have two daughters that are 14 and 11 also. My ob from 11 years ago has moved away. I desperatly need to find a doc that is understandable to someone my age giving birth; as i do have some concerns. Would love to find someone here in pickerington or Reynoldsburg. Have an appt tomorrow with cols/ob gyn. Wasnt impressed with anything ive heard about this group.

What can I do next?

L.,

Not sure how far you want to go for your OB/GYN, but the clinic that I went to for both my children is wonderful, (Professionals for Women's Health) they have offices in Westerville, Dublin, and Columbus. http://pwhealth.com/locations.html The way they work is that you can just go and and see whatever doctor at the clinic you want or you can see a specific doctor throughout your prenatal care, however when you go into labor you will get whichever doctor is on call for that day. I love them though all the doctors and nurse practitioners are wonderful.

enjoy your pregnancy,
Mel

I went to Dr. Bressler with my last child. He's located over by Mt.Carmel East. He's been in practice for over 30 yrs. He's a fantastic Dr.

I *HIGHLY* recommend Dr. Frank Isabelle - Woman's Contempory Health in Westerville. He rocks! Not only did he deliver me 31 yrs ago but he saw me thru the journey of carrying my son full term after 3 failed attemps. His staff is equally wonderful. ###-###-#### - I live in Reynoldsburg, but he is worth the drive. (his office use to off Bethel Rd - when I was p/g) - Good luck!

Hi L.,
I have gone to two different Dr's at Cols OB/GYN deliver my 2 kids (one per kid, that is). Both female because I prefer female doc's, but now I wish I wasn't so picky. They were nice and all, but not very informative and attentive as I would have liked. They did a good job, but I'm still looking for someone in case I have a third baby. They won't allow me to switch doc's again in the same group, so I guess I have to go elsewhere. I had seen Dr. Kurup and Dr. Olah. On the other hand, I've heard nothing but good about Dr. Green(e)? in that same group, he's a male doc. I had seen him once when my doc was out and I think he is proactive and informative (and good with my toddler who was with me). I wish I could switch to him. I hope that is helpful and not too late. Good luck!
