Single Mom Looking to Rent a House......... Any Suggestions?
Hi there,
I am wanting to rent a house, I am tired of living in appartments.
I am wanting a nice home for me and my daughter to call home.
I have considered plano, frisco, or even moving twards the midcities area.
Where are good places to look for a home? I don't want to buy, just rent

You can check www.realtor.com for rental listings. We looked in Plano but prices were a bit too steep for us so we ended up looking in Garland, near 190 & Firewheel Mall. We ended up buying, but there are usually a couple for rent/lease around us. The area is nice & quiet and we're paying much less than we would have in Plano and in a much nicer neighborhood than we would have been able to barely afford there.
Good luck!

Hi!
I'm not sure what you're looking for as far as community or schools, but Denton County is usually inexpensive. Denton is a college town, lots of activities for families and children, lots of services and lots of college students in early childhood programs to be babysitters!
Aubrey schools are very good (my sister went there), Denton schools are hit and miss (find out what school serves the area you're looking at and check them out on an individual basis), The Colony schools are pretty good but not alot of rentals in that area.
Also, if you're looking in Denton, housing around TWU will be cheaper than around UNT.
Hope this helps!

Go to Frisco On Line www.friscoonline.com, select FORUMS, then go to Classifieds. People are always listing For Rent homes on there :)

HI, My husband and I have been renting from a company called Prime Properties for almost 3 yrs. The rent is affordable and the homes are very spacious. They cover all areas of Texas. Why don't you go to their website and see if there is anything that interest you. The only thing is to know is the areas usually have home owners associations and they are very strict on the property being kept up. The website is:
www.primedfw.com.
