Seeking Reviews for KY Products

I've never used any K*Y products before, but have been thinking about trying them as something new for Valentine's Day this year. Specifically I'd like to know how the "Yours & Mine Personal Lubricants" and the "K*Y Intense" products work...basically are they worth the money? I'm concerned about getting a rash from these products also, since they are used in such sensitive places. Hope this isn't too personal a question...TIA Mamas!

What can I do next?

I stick with regular old KY, if I want the fancy stuff I do massages with the warming oils. I was gifted a pack with mini warming oils and two standard KY bottles. Honestly all the "extra" seems to get in the way to me.

The gels and lotions and lubricants are just marketing gimmicks.
Unless it comes with batteries it's not going to "do" anything!

The Intense one was too...(wait for it)...intense for us.

It felt like icy hot. Actually, it felt more like Halls menthal.

Anyway, we like "Just like Me". I've heard that olive oil also causes no problems as it is all natural (so no greater chance of yeast infections or UTIs).

Whatever one you choose, I highly recommend the "fluid" varieties. The ol' KY sold in a toothpaste tube is like reliving your high school days - awkward and KY slime gets everywhere.

Never fails...either a UTI or yeast infection occurs after one use.

unfortunately, it's a necessity for some older women (sigh).

most of the newer products can really burn! IcyHot was a good analogy!

the liquid version works much better than the old-style.

I have very sensitive skin + allergies. Have not had a rash nor itch nor UTI with any of the products.

I didn't like the "Yours & Mine" at all, whoever said IcyHot was exactly right, and the sensation lingered for hours. Not fun.

I have used the yours and mine before and I really didn't like it. It actually kind of burns. I haven't used anything actually in years because I haven't needed to. I guess the older I get, the better it gets, lol!

Thumbs down on the "Yours and Mine" and the "KY Intense."

We tried Astroglide (funny name I know) and we (both of us) really like it! It doesn't get sticky and dried out like the other brands and there is no burning sensation like there is with the speciality products.

Meh!

Really they were meh.

Knowing what I know now I wouldn't spend the money on them.

I didnt like Ky products. It burned. Try Astroglide instead. lThere's water base and gel base. I suggest the water. My gyno suggested it after i said it felt like i had friction burns from other stuff. Also, did you know you can use cooking oil or olive oil? NOT BABY OIL or it will give you infections. Yep for years my hubby and i had a separate bottle of cooking oil in the bedroom for sex lube. I was rolling on the floor laughing well a Gyno doc told me that. but, it does leave a small odor on your towels and pain to clean up. Also, started getting infections after 4 yrs of stuff.

The KY stuff....you'd be better off putting toothpaste or listerine on your bits, because that's what it smells and feels like. I only know because I accidentally spilled some listerine on my panties one day and...yeah...no.

ANYWAY!!!

Shop around at places like Adam and Eve, if you're wanting new and maybe flavored types. But seriously, stay far, far away from KY.

The yours & mine does burn it doesn't feel good at all but as far as the other k*y products I don't know they may be better.

I've used KY Touch Massage 2-in-1 Warming, unscented (being perimenopausal). I like it very much. However, I agree with another poster if you're prone to UTIs or yeast infections, maybe try something that clearly states it is not likely to cause....

Plus, a little dab'll do ya.

Otherwise, have fun!

I actually liked yours and mine. I think mine expired though, it lost its intensity.

Astroglide is less irritating because it is water-based.
