There is a second-generation, family owned business in Elmhurst that I have personally used. Mike, the current owner (and son of the founder) has been an active Chamber member and community person. Mike is genuinely a very nice guy. We have been very pleased with his service. Please feel free to tell him that C. Bajkowski referred you. I know I always want to know how clients get referred to our office -so I can thank them! The company is called Leaders Maintenance Group; the number is ###-###-####. They are a Janitorial service, but he is great at cleaning carpets and furniture. He cleaned an old sofa and loveseat for us. I couldn't believe the dirt he removed. Amazing! Good luck. C.
Fred's Carpet & Furniture is by far the best carpet cleaning service I have used. It is family owned which is a + in my book. We have white carpet and a 3 year- not a good combo and Fred's never ceases to amaze me. When they are finished my carpet looks brand new! They usually have 3-4 guys come in (most of the time Fred is with them), they move and block all furniture for you. They also clean furniture. I have not used them for this but my in-laws have and were very happy with the result. Fred's is the only carpet cleaning service I will use.
