Carpet Cleaning Company Recommendation

Whatever you do, DO NOT USE AMERICLEAN... They were horrible. They are the company that you always see ads in the ad paper and coupon books... 4.95/room & 24.75/5 rooms... I needed a quick cleaning before company came to town and didnt have time to do it myself and called them. They were so late, had to leave and come back and made a mess, knicked up my wall and once they left, the rooms they cleaned, the carpet wasnt even wet in areas. Proof that you get what you paid for.

We really like CFT (Carpet and Fabric Technicians) out of St. Charles-###-###-####. They were recommended by our realtor when we moved here and they have always done a great job. They cleaned my old couches and they looked brand new when they finished.

I have been using Servicecare out of Yorkville for years and got them as a referral from someone else. Their 800 number is 800-517-8200. It's grown quite a bit in the last few years. The owner used to do it all the work himself but now has people working for him. They have now expanded to include more things like flood restoration, leather cleaning, window cleaning etc.

I use Clean Pro in Naperville. They have done an excellent job. They are a family owned and operated company and very thorough. Thought very reasonably priced as well and it is not a wet, wet cleaning. ###-###-####. We were walking on our carpets by the end of the day.

I recommend Eco-King Inc., Jim Zobel ###-###-####. They only use cleaing supplies that are "green", safe for kids, pets & the environment. And they give free estimates. The owner is my good friend's faher-in-law.

Call or e-mail Bob at Kwik Klean...he is a bit expensive but does a fabulous job. My carpet looked like new when he did it. We always use Stanley Steemer. We tried Steam Magic once, but the quality wasn't even close to Stanley Steemer's, which explains why their prices are higher. I like that I can schedule the cleaning online, they are always on time & efficient. Plus, their Spot Remover is the best I've used for getting spills out of the carpet in between cleanings.
