my 6 year old keeps itching her crotch the last few days. I've tried a few creams, and keep making sure she's clean, without cleaning tooooo much. What should I try next?

What can I do next?

Dear K.,
This may sound silly since you already have a 10 yr. old girl but here goes. My niece was doing the same thing and it turned out that her panties were a size too small. Once she got the right size the "itching" stopped. Worth a try.

Hi K.,

My niece had that problem and it turned out she had allergies to nylon and cotton-nylon blends. She needed all cotton underwear and mild detergent.

Good Luck

Sounds like it might be an alergy issue?? Perhaps some baby soap for showering. Maybe she is allergic to the soap used to wash clothes...try Dreft. Perhaps it's an allergy or sensitivity to the fabric. If not allergy, might be a sensory issue, but sounds like an allergy issue. I know I get various skin allergies and itchies ESPECIALLY during these winter months with the dry air and heat on. Recently, I even used Balmex on some dry, chapped skin. GOOD LUCK!

I love Arbonne diaper cream.....it works so quickly. It doesn't have mineral oil in it and is botanically based. My 4 year old is very sensitive and it works great with her. Do you have a consultant that you know who sells it? I can help if you don't.
