Seeking Playgrounds in West Hartford, CT

Wescott Park is close to the WestFarms Mall and is great in the hot weather because it has a sprinkler park which is completely age appropriate for your kids. Their playground is great too - I've been taking my kids there since I moved to the area. There are also wide open fields to run around in.

West Hartford has some really great playgrounds so you will have a lot to choose from. have a great time.

My kids really like Jonathan's Dream playground which is at 335 Bloomfield Ave behind the Jewish community center. It's a handicap accessible park which makes it easy for the younger kids to get around and it is fenced in except for the entrance. I don't know very much about other parks in West Hartford though so there may be a better one, but my kids always ask to go if we're in the area.

E. Park is a wonderful place to go. It does not have a playground as you were hoping for but it has a pond where the little ones can look at ducks and fish. It also has lots of area to walk and play. They are known for their rose garden. SOOooo many beautiful flowers to look at and smell. You can have a picnic there, go inside the gazebo. They also have the "Pond House Cafe" in the center of the park. You can use their bathroom facility where they have a changing table in the woman's bathroom.
