Hi D.,

I attend and teach Stroller Strides classes and my son and I love them!!!

It is a great way to get exercise in for yourself all while entertaining your little one. I have made some really great friends through attending these classes and they offer weekly playdates, monthly moms night outs and community events at no additional charge.

Classes are currently being conducted in Superstition Springs Mall and Fiesta Mall. Take a look at the website and see if it is something you would like to try. The first week is FREE so at the very least you can have a week of something new!!! www.strollerstrides.com

Try Gymboree classes for babies and todlers on Val Vista and Baseline in Gilbert. It's different than the Gymboree Clothing store. It's on the east side of Val Vista south of the freeway. Hope this helps.

Check out Artville at the Mesa museum. My little girl loves it (she is 9 months)

There are some great classes about the developing infant at Life Sculpting, including one about toys and play. They are taught by a speech therapist in Chandler, www.lifesculpting.biz/calendar. They have a women's night out as well.

You might consider joining MOMS Club. You can find a local chapter by going to momsclub.org
They have lots of playgroups, outings, MOMS Nights Out - best decision I ever made when I had my first daughter.

Find the M.O.M.S club in your area. They are all over. I joined when I had first moved and didn't know a soul, with child in toe. They offer play dates, park days, mom's night out, book club, recipe club, scrap booking, they have monthly meetings with great guest speakers, fundraising for the community and groups in need and more. You can do as much or as little as you like. My kids and I made a lot of friends and it was also a great resource for mom questions like potty training, nursing, schools and more.

Hi D.,
One class my 6 month old son and I take is through Gymboree! They have fun interactive classes to take. There is one off Chandler and Dobson Road. We are also going to be signing up for mommy and me swimming lessons. The program we are looking at is through AquaTots. Hope this helps!
