Seeking GOOD Consignment Shop

Does anyone know of a good consignment shop? Or anyone expecting a baby boy? :) I have tons of gently used boy clothes from birth to 12 months. They range from onesies, sleepers, to matching outfits. I've tried OUAC and wasn't given much at all. The majority of the clothes were barely worn (my son's grew fast in the first 3 months). Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

Hi E.,

Have you tried to list your items on Ebay? I have made some pretty good money by selling my kids out grown clothes. There is a resale shop that I sometimes use in Commerce twp. Called Children's Orchard they are located at commerce road and Union Lake road. Hope this helps.

I would also highly recommend Ebay, it is pretty easy to do and I made pretty good money selling my daughters things on there.

Once upon a child is a great place if you don't want to deal with selling on ebay. You can go to the website to find a location nearest you. They only accept clothes for the upcoming season, but I would call them at get deatailed info. I haven't sold anything there, but I buy from there VERY often.

I'm not sure which OUAC you went to, but, they are independently ran. I've been to four of them and my favorite is the one in Canton. I haven't sold there though.

If you're interested in driving a few miles, there's a Children's Orchard in Ann Arbor, just off 94. Love this one in particular (nothing compared to the one in Plymouth-quite disappointed in that one.) Very nice store and great employees. Prices were comparable to OUAC.

Hope this helps...good luck.

Hi E.,
Try Baby Baby in Northville, South Lyon resale, and Our Blessings in Milford. I don't know if these are too far of a drive for you depending where in Farmington you are, but they are pretty good. Good Luck:)

Where do you live (I am in Canton)? I am expecting a boy in 5 weeks. Maybe we can get together so I can see what you have.
