I am looking for a Childrens's Resale Shop in South East Gilbert or Queen Creek area? Is there such a place??? I know of the Once Upon A Chaild @ Val Vista & Baseline, I was there this morning & had a HORRIBLE experience. I guess the new rules for the store is you may only fill 1 of thier baskets (and it must be level) per present adult per day. I have a 3 BIG baskets of Spring/Summer clothes and I would like to take to a resale store as I really don't want to deal with a Garage Sale & my kids with nobody to help me. So again if anyone knows of any place of closer to me, I am @ Higley & Pecos I would really be happy.

Thanks in Advance

M.

So What Happened?

Childrens Orchid @ Lidsay & Warner seems to be the place to try. I will try them, if not I may just group the clothes in lots & sell them on CL so I can get stuff for this season & some winter. What is left I will get them to little ones who are in need.

THanks for all the replies.

Children's Orchard IS still at Lindsay and Warner. I have always liked to shop there because their store is clean and doesn't smell like a resale shop. I have sold items to them before, and they were reasonable. Give them a call.

I don't know the name but I think there is one in the vicinity of Gilbert Rd and Williamsfield.

You also may try posting them on craigslist as a whole lot or broken down by size. Most clothing I see sell for about a $1 per piece, which may be more then the consignment shop would give you. That way you don't have to leave the comfort of your home.

"Children's Orchard" is another resale shop at Warner and Lindsey. They also have a website if you goggle it. The owner is the assisant manager at the Kindercare that my 8 month old son attends at Baseline and Val Vista (Directly behind the resale shop you were discussing in you email.) She stated her products are a lot better and in a lot better shape. I haven't been yet, however my parents went awhile ago when Children's Orchard was having a sale (fill a bag for $6) and they were pleased with the store. Good luck

I am not sure if they are still there, but there used to be a store called Children's Orchard at Lindsay and Warner. I personally take my children's clothes to the Once Upon a Child at Alma School and Warner. They always pay cash (sometimes only on certain items) and they don't seem to be as picky. It will be a drive for you, as it is for me, but I have never been disappointed with the results. Good luck!
