Seeking Christian Daycare Center

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Christian based childcare/preschool for my soon to be 2 year old? I live in Keller just off of Shiver and N. Beach. I am looking into the Children's Lighthouse on Shiver, any experiences (good, bad and ugly) with that center?

Thanks in advance!!

What can I do next?

My kids go to Childrens Lighthouse on Shiver and we absolutely love it!! I have not heard one bad review of that facility (we have a community intranet that's very active) and they've more than exceeded the hype we heard. My son had an uncharacteristically bad day yesterday (& Monday). When I went to pick him up I looked around for his lead teacher but she was busy training a new person. No problem, I told the front desk I'd talk to her tomorrow. 30 minutes after I got home my phone rang - it was the lead teacher calling to apologize for not being available! She then talked to me about my son for 15 minutes, we agreed on a course of action, and then she talked to my son to encourage him to have a better day tomorrow. Due to moves my kids have been in several day cares, this one is the best hands down!
FYI - I moved my kids from Primrose at Heritage after several concerns that weren't addressed to my satisfaction. Since then two other families from Primrose Heritage have moved to Lighthouse as well, and I know of at least 2 more that are considering moving.

L.,

I've not heard anything about Lighthouse but I've heard good things about Harvest Church's preschool. They are not far from you. They are located on the corner of Hwy 377 and Basswood. Also, you might want to checkout Glenview Baptist Church. They have a good children's department and may have a preschool.

Hi L.,

Premier Academy is a Christian based school and they are in Keller and also Westlake.

Primrose of Parkwood Hill (or any Primrose for that matter) may be similar to what you're looking for. They try to be sensitive to all religions, but they teach the main goals that Christian schools teach and even pray before meals, etc. You may want to check it out. Also, a lot of churches have preschools. I think that St. Elizabeth's on Willis Ln has a good preschool, but I don't know from experience. Good luck, and happy hunting!
