Seeking Adult Dance Lessons.

Hi everyone. My fiance and I are interested in taking dance lessons in preparation for our wedding in October. I tried to register us for a class through Main Line School but found out that it was already full. Do any of you know of anywhere else that offers similar lessons? We're in the King of Prussia area but are open to driving to other areas. Thank you!

What can I do next?

Betsy Daily Dance School is in Berwyn, 800 Lancaster Ave. across from the Berwyn Fire Station. ###-###-#### My husband and I recently took a ballroom class there. We had a great time. I believe she is running another class (friday evenings) right now. Might have only had one class, probably could still join. She also offers private lessons.

Hope this helps. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

My husband and I have taken many classes through the Mount Airly Learning Tree. It is a community learning organization and they have lots of interesting offerings. The dance classes are small and the teachers are really nice. I also took fencing there!

Check out there web site:

You also can look into the local school districts' adult ed classes. Our SD always offers a variety of adult dance classes.

Hello J.,
My name is M. Gordon and I live in the Norristown area. My sister and her now husband took lessons at Arthur Murray in East Norriton. It really helpd them for the first dance at their wedding last January. Hope this helps.

I took Salsa at the Society Hill Dance Academy in Philly but they also offer many different classes as well as private lessons. The instuctors are awesome as well as being in a beautiful part of town. http://www.societyhilldance.com/

My husband and I also took dance lessons through the community catelog listing, usually if you go to local school districts web sites there is a link for community education, most of which include some form of dance.

One other place I have seen lessons offered is through the YMCA.

Good luck!
