Searching for a Church

We have lived in Greenville (Duncan actually) for a year and a half now, and are still searching for a church, which is amazing and sad, so I'm turning to you guys to find out if there are any we just haven't heard of yet. We aren't Baptist, which makes it very difficult in this area! We are looking for something small to mid-size (not mega) non-denominational or Assembly of God-type, not majorly Word of Faith, spirit-filled but not crazy, down-to-earth church with a pastor/ leadership with shepherd's hearts. It seems that every church we have visited has one but not most of those qualities. I know there are some churches out there who don't advertise or have a website, so I'm hoping you guys can throw out some suggestions. We're at the end of our rope with visiting, or going somewhere for a couple weeks just to realize it's not the place for us! Thanks!

We love our church which is in Taylors on Edwards Rd. It is called North Hills Community Church. Great pastor and pastors. Great people. They have small groups that meet each week as well called shepherding groups. Go to www.nhcconline.com to see the website.

Hope that helps!

We like Crossroads Community Church in Simpsonville. We're new as well, but it seems a good fit for us.

I live in the Reidville Community - just right down the road from you. My husband and I are members of Brookwood Church in Simpsonville and have been for 10 yrs. Although it is a pretty large church, there is so much that the church offers. We are part of a small group - which helps us get connected and have a church family - which can be difficult when you are members of such a large denomination. We have some new friends from the Duncan area whom we are in small group with. If you have not already done so, please visit BrookwoodChurch.org. We love Brookwood. I pray that you and your family find what you are looking for.
If you are interested in visiting (if you have not done so already) send an email to ____@____.com and we would be more than happy to meet you there.

Hey my Name is T., my husband & are going to Cornerstone Church on Wade Hampton, we have been there, for about 4 years & absolutely love it!!! My husband cam from a Baptist & cam from a modern Pentecostal, we have found that Cornerstone is a great mix, right in the middle. It's located on Wade Hampton in the Taylors area, if you come from Pleasentburg, you'll turn right onto Wade Hampton, by the Red Lobster, go the church is on the left, at the first traffic light past Denny's. If you'd like more information, send me a message & I'll give you my cell number!!! God Bless, and good luck!!!
