Single Mom Seeking a Great Church.......
Hello Ladies,
I am pregnant with a little one on the way and Also have a 3yr old little girl.
I am really seeking a church who will be supportive to me and will be of great guidance to me.
I really want to start going back to church and become closer to the lord. I used to be really strong in my faith and I have let it go for the past 4 years.
I live in the plano Frisco area.......
I prefer Baptist or Non Denominational...... A church that doesn't cast out Single moms or Expecting Mommys who are not WED.

I hear Celebration Covenant is really good! I will be visiting there nex tweekend! I am in search of a good church as well! Stay strong & please reach out if u need to chat to a positive person for advice. I know these times can be really hard! Peace N Light

Please check out my church in Frisco, Stonebriar Community Church. It is located just north of Stonebriar Mall, near Preston and Lebanon Roads. The pastor is Chuck Swindoll. It is a wonderful church who will love you and your children. It is non-denominational. They have great programs for kids and moms. You can listen to Pastor Swindoll's sermons on his radio program Insight For Living.

We also live in Frisco and found First Baptist of Denton and don't mind the drive because we love the church so much. It's on Malone Street near TWU. We recently started going to a parenting class there that meets once a month and there are a lot of single mothers in the class. They will not judge you. Check them out at fbcd.net - I hope you find something.

I think it's great you are looking for a church family, I think they are so important. I attend Grace Outreach Center, non-denominational church. I just love them of course, they have a great children's ministry, youth and adult. They are located at the corner of Preston and Parker, in Plano. I encourage you to visit their website http://www.graceoutreachcenter.org/
God will lead you to the right church, pray about it. Make sure you feel good where ever you go, that's why there are so many churches out there, for some people a big church is for them, other people a small one, God will place you were you need to be.

We attend Prestonwood Baptist Chruch in Plano off Midway and Park (just off the Tollway) and we (and our kids) absolutely LOVE it!!!
They are extremely supportive of single moms-- even have support classes and special parking for them!
You should give it a try!
